Professor Joe’s Bio

JOE MARTIN is the founder and president of the Rich Teachers Club™.  He is a nationally-known speaker, an award-winning educator, author, and educational consultant. Joe became the youngest faculty member ever hired to teach at an accredited state university in the state of Florida at the age of 24.  He also has the distinct honor of being the youngest professor at his institution to ever be nominated twice for the “Distinguished Teacher’s Award.”

Joe has addressed more than 750 student organizations, associations, public schools, colleges and universities, helping hundreds of thousands of students, educators, and administrators across the country achieve more, live and serve more passionately, and maximize their potential.  The Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities selected Joe as its national “Campus Speaker of the Year.”  And Joe was also selected Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Professionally, Joe has worked as a top sales trainer for a Fortune 500 company and as a public relations professional for both the state and federal government, including a position with the Florida’s Governor’s Office.  Joe is also the founder and president of “RealWorld University” (www.RWuniversity.com) – an award-winning college success web site designed to help students meet the personal and professional challenges of college and life.  He’s also the creator for “New Teacher University” (www.NewTeacherUniversity.com) – an on-line educational resource center designed to support, train, and sustain the success and professional development of new and beginning teachers.

Joe has made several guest appearances on both television and radio, and he’s been featured in several newspapers and organizational newsletters across the country.  Joe is also the author of highly-acclaimed, “Tricks of the Grade,” “Good Teachers Never Quit,” and “When Students Just Won’t Listen.”  And he also serves as a guest columnist for three national educational publications.
